Tami Talks: Unscripted Healing

Welcome to the Unscripted Healing Podcast where we share unscripted stories about health and healing because everyone has a story and everyone has an Inner Child who wants to be heard. There is so much healing that can happen through real-life storytelling and this podcast creates a safe space for people to share their stories and connect the dots back to their childhood. It also creates an opportunity for YOU, the listener, to find yourself (and your Inner Child) within the stories. So before pressing play, I encourage you to tune into your body because, as you are listening, it may give you clues to your story in the form of “goosebumps,” a pit in your stomach, a lump in your throat, tears in your eyes, or shivers down your spine! Those are all ways that your Inner Child and body are trying to get your attention that there was something in that story for you! And thank you - just for being here - your Inner Child is already starting to feel seen, heard, and loved by you.

What if disappointing others didn’t mean losing love?
In this episode of Tami Talks: Unscripted Healing, Tami explores the fear of disappointing others—and how it often stems from childhood experiences and a deep belief that love is conditional and can easily be taken away.
From childhood trauma to adult relationships, Tami explores how this fear often roots itself in the belief that disappointment equals a withdrawal of love. Through honest reflections and stories, she sheds light on how people-pleasing behaviors develop, how the ego tries to protect us, and why setting boundaries can feel so emotionally risky.
This episode is an invitation to reconnect with your inner child, speak your truth without guilt, and embrace the idea that disappointing others doesn't make you unlovable—it makes you human.

*Trigger Warning: There is mention of domestic abuse in this episode.
Episode #58: In this episode of Tami Talks: Unscripted Healing, I sit down with my dear friend Wendy C. Wilson—speaker, coach, and author of Iron Will—to talk about the long road from childhood trauma to deep healing, purpose, and emotional freedom.
Wendy shares how witnessing abuse as a child, walking on eggshells, and struggling with self-worth shaped everything from her relationships to how she showed up at work. We dive into how people-pleasing, silence, and survival mode can follow us into adulthood—and how healing those inner wounds changes everything.
This conversation is raw, real, and full of wisdom about breaking cycles, reclaiming your voice, and trusting the timing of your purpose. If you’ve ever felt like you’re still waiting for clarity, this one will hit home.

Healing the past to expand the vision is at the heart of this episode of Tami Talks: Unscripted Healing. I sit down with Jaime and Kevin White—coaches, healers, and real-deal humans—who know what it’s like to walk through the fire (including a move to an entirely new country) and come out the other side with purpose and clarity.
We unpack the layers of human design, generational patterns, entrepreneurship, and the deeply rooted fear many women carry around being seen. This episode is a powerful reminder that you can’t play big carrying old pain—and that healing the past is often the key to expanding your vision for the future.
From the illusion of money to the freedom of surrender, this conversation invites you to release outdated programming, lean into your intuitive gifts, and finally trust the process—even when there's no proof, only faith. Healing is messy. Growth is sacred. And you’re not meant to do it alone!

Have you ever caught yourself sabotaging a good thing—whether it’s a relationship, opportunity, weight loss efforts, gym streak, or personal success—without really knowing why?
You're not alone. In this deeply personal episode of Tami Talks: Unscripted Healing, I open up about my own experiences with self-sabotage and why we often push away the very things we desire. It’s not because we don’t want health, happiness, or wealth—it’s because if you have unhealed childhood wounds, your nervous system is still wired for chaos and control, not peace and safety.
*Trigger Warning for anyone who has experienced a miscarriage or loss of a child. I talk about it only regarding the lack of support women receive - and send anyone who has experienced either so much love and healing.
This journey of healing is messy, ongoing, and beautifully unscripted—but the more we understand ourselves, the more we can step into the love, joy, and success we truly deserve.

The best teachers don’t just teach—they nurture, empower, and create safe spaces for kids to thrive. In this 1-Year Anniversary episode, I reconnect with my 3rd-grade teacher, Mrs. Serres, to talk about what it really means to see and support a child beyond the classroom.
What may look like a “bad student” on the surface is often just a child who needs to feel seen, heard, and supported, and Mrs. Serres has a gift for making kids feel safe, valued, and capable of anything.
Together, we explore the emotional side of teaching, the importance of intentionally fostering happiness and emotional resilience, and why helping kids trust their intuition is one of the greatest gifts we can give.

In this episode, I sit down with Christina Lorey, Editor of UpNorthNews, to explore the reality of adult bullying and the ways it shows up in workplaces, online, and even within our communities.
