Tami Talks: Unscripted Healing

Welcome to the Unscripted Healing Podcast where we share unscripted stories about health and healing because everyone has a story and everyone has an Inner Child who wants to be heard. There is so much healing that can happen through real-life storytelling and this podcast creates a safe space for people to share their stories and connect the dots back to their childhood. It also creates an opportunity for YOU, the listener, to find yourself (and your Inner Child) within the stories. So before pressing play, I encourage you to tune into your body because, as you are listening, it may give you clues to your story in the form of “goosebumps,” a pit in your stomach, a lump in your throat, tears in your eyes, or shivers down your spine! Those are all ways that your Inner Child and body are trying to get your attention that there was something in that story for you! And thank you - just for being here - your Inner Child is already starting to feel seen, heard, and loved by you.

“You should start a podcast,” they said, “It’ll be fun.” And it has been—fun, rewarding, but also incredibly challenging. After another devastating episode loss due to tech issues with my new computer, I felt so defeated.
My Ego was ready to quit, and I was almost convinced to follow. But I believe in showing the process—the good, the bad, and the messy, behind-the-scenes struggles—whether it’s in my healing journey or producing this podcast.
In this week’s episode, I’m keeping it real and sharing what went down. Because, as they say, “shit happens,” but you can either quit or, as the late Aaliyah sang, “Dust yourself off and try again.”
Thanks to all the Tami Talks listeners who continue to press play as I navigate this bumpy ride.

Together, we explore the connections between past wounds and present behaviors, including people-pleasing and the fear of rejection in dating.
